The Autumn Tag

*I do not own this picture, took it from Google.

Okay so I was supposed to upload a hair care routine today, but a I had a little technical problem. So, this morning I woke up and immediately took my camera while I still had the perfect lighting. When it was time to go thru the photos and choose the perfect one, I couldn't ! "And why is that?" Oh! because stupid little me forgot to put the memory card in the camera so the pictures I took weren't saved!! Did it ever happen to you? Let me know in the comments down below because I wonder if I'm the only one who's dumb enough to do this... Anyways, but since I haven't posted anything for now a couple of days I still wanted to write something. Luckily 2 days ago I was tagged by +Beauty4Free2U to do the Autumn Tag, so that's what I'm going to do but my hair care routine will be up soon I promise!

Favorite thing about autumn ?
I live in a hot country so autumn weather comes pretty late but when it does get a bit colder, I love cozy nights on the couch with a blanket, a good movie and a cup of tea. That's everyone's favorite thing, no?

Favorite drink ?
Tea, tea, tea, tea (I like fennel tea for a daily basis because it's healthy to and without cafeine but I LOVE chai tea) and maybe if I'm craving for something sweet a hot chocolate.

Favorite scent/candle ?
I am a fan of musky scents! So everything with musc or with woody scents I love! I've also been obsessed with ocean scent lately, if you don't know what it is, look it up it's amazing!!

Favorite lipstick ?
Shu Uemura lipstick in 265, it's a purple liptick but not a dark purple. It comes off super natural but still pigmented. If you're too scared to go for the dark bold lips this is perfect for you. It also gives a glossy finish and it's moisturizing so simply perfection.

Go-to moisturizer ?
Embryolisse creme hydratante, it's from a french drugstore and I adore it, plus it's for all skin types so I would recommend it to all of you out there that are in a hunt for a good hydrating moisturizer.

Fave go-to color for your eyes ?
Brown, Gold, and purple. They're colors that are very complimentary to brown eyes and are beautiful for fall too.

Favorite music to listen to ?
Personally my queen is Beyonce, so I listen to her all year round, no matter what mood I am in; but recently I discovered Emeli Sande which has great music and an amazing voice so I look forward to hearing more of a music. My favorite song from her is her most popular one "read all about it", it just gives me chills (link is here) . Ps: I started to obsess over One Direction lately, I never thought I will be caught in there cuteness by I guess no one can avoid that...

Favorite outfit to wear ?
I going to be a bit boring with that and go with the casual : good pair of distressed jeans, combat boots, tank top, leather jacket and a beanie. The basics basically (ignore the fact that I put to same words one after the other please)

Autumn treat ?
A CHOCOLATE SOUFFLE. Sorry, got a bit to excited for that...

Favorite place to be ?
On my couch or in my bed. Yep typical answer of a lazy person, what can I do?

Well that tag was pretty fun to do, got me a bit excited for autumn even though I don't want to say goodbye to summer... I mean I know it's already autumn but it's still summer weather here! I hope you enjoyed reading and I obviously tag all of you reading right now to do it! But more specifically I tag

Nivea Cleanser // Review

Recently I ran out of my Bioderma cleanser/makeup remover, which I'm literally in love with. It's just perfect and it's the only cleanser kind of thing that I use so I never really went looking for something else. By the way if you can get Bioderma in your country then I'd 100% recommend to, it's suitable for every skin type and they have a version for sensitive skin too.

Okay now I'll stop rambling about my love for Bioderma and I'll get to my point! Basically I went looking for something else to cleanse my skin but I wasn't really ready to invest into something fancy and expensive, so I picked up the first thing that the lady in my drugstore handed to me. Of course she said how good of a product it was and that I'll be crazy not to buy it because it's on sale only today, but they always say that, right? How it's on sale ONLY today when we really know it's like that all year round! No just kidding she was just doing her job! Whatever, I just can't stop rambling !!! Okay so I ended up buying it (obviously she almost forced me, haha :p) and I thought I'll do a review on it for all of you that might be interested...

First of all this product is a gel consistency and has Hydra IQ (I have no idea what it means but I suppose that it's hydrating, logically) and Cucumber Extract. It's written that it is "gently and thoroughly, deeply purifies, effectively removes dirt and make-up, maintains the natural moisture balance".

That sounds pretty good, but what you read is not always true so I'm going to give you my honest opinion about it.
It surely is very refreshing and it has a very pleasant sent, which is perfect to wake you up in the morning (especially for school because nobody wants to wake up for school!). It does a good job at removing my makeup and all the nasty things, so that's another positive point. The only bad thing I have to say about it, it's that the first time I used it, some spots on my skin were itchy and a bit red, but it was fine after couple of minutes so it was nothing to permanent. I just don't think I recommend it for sensitive skin. By the way the one I picked up is for normal to combination skin, and I paid for it 10 $.

Overall I'm really pleased with that product, nothing revolutionary or something, but that wasn't what I was looking for anyways so it's fine. Although I'm happy with this cleanser, I'll stick to my Bioderma because it's the bomb !

Hope you found this helpful, and if you try it, please let me know in the comments down below what are your thoughts, I'd really love to know !

How I style Vans : 3 Different Looks

A few days ago I bought my first pair of vans in a very spontaneous situation. So (yeah I'm going to tell you the story of how I bought them, if you really don't care feel free to skip to the pictures) I was heading to my dance lesson, really motivated to move my body and work out a bit. Feeling pretty confident about my timing, I was pretty sure I was going to be there exactly on time. Once I was in the bus for 15 minutes I rechecked my dance schedule and realized I was 3 hours early. What I thought was my class was actually the little kids hip hop class. So I got off the bus and didn't know what to do. Luckily (or not) I was in front of many shops, so I decided to take a look. In my mind I was JUST taking look but not spending ANY money. Well we all know that never works right ? Girls just can't resist window display. I came across those beautiful vans and had to buy them. I never owned a pair of vans before, I mean I did but when I was really little. I had to give them a go, they just are so unique but still go with everything since they're black and white.
Here is how I would style them, a casual look, a girly look, and a dressier one. I hope you enjoy !

Tee-Shirt : Zadig&Voltaire

2 in 1 Heatless and Easy Hairstyle (perfect for school)

Oh well, today's post is going be about hair. Hair hair hair, I personnally have been struggling with my hair forever, and I think I'm not the only one in the world with this problem. Some have straight hair, some have wavy hair but I have very curly hair and that can be quite tricky to work with. The only way I can straighten my hair is ONLY by going to the hairstylist, because at home it will literally take me something like an hour and a half to two hours (no joke), because I do have a lot of hair and they have a lot of volume too. So to all of you that are in the same situation, this mini tutorial is for you. So you can get those perfect heatless curls. And to all of you that are just lazy to spend hours on your hair then it's for you too.
We all know the trick of braiding your hair after the shower and before you go to sleep so you'll wake up with nice waves, right? So I found another technique that works even better (I'm not a genius, I'm sure I'm not the first one to come up with this but I thought I'll share it with you).
  • Work with your hair after you get out of the shower but not while it's completely wet, but while it's damp.
  • Then part your hair into two section, and instead of making two regular braids, you want to do two french braids. If you don't know how to do one than I can't really explain to you by writing so here is a link where you can learn : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yDEqP6FsQs
  • Leave it like this all night, or even all day which is what I do, because I actually think that in itself it is a super cute hairstyle.
  • Then you want to take your braids out and pop a bit of hairspray so the curls stay (I put oil on my hair to hydrate them because I know that the curls will stay anyways)

Finished look (hairstyle n°2) :

Yeah so that's it, nothing very genius, but I hope helpful. I litterally do this everyday and I've been getting a lot of compliment on it so I hope you will to.
Feel free to comment any of your requests or if you try this out let me know, I respond to each and every comment.

This or That TAG (fashion) ♛

I am very new to this all world of blogging about fashion, beauty and other random things, so to do a TAG for the first time is quite exciting for me because I always see other well-known youtubers do them but I never thought I would actually end up doing one myself :p (I may sound like a freak but it's okay). I was tagged by a lovely blogger ( ladywiththebags.blogspot.co.uk) so I decided I'll give it a go :)

Jeans or sweat pants ? Jeans
This is very sad to admit but I choose look over comfort. Pretty embarrassing I know but I'm just a jeans girl I can't help it. Don't get me wrong, if I'm not doing anything, just laying on my couch not being very productive, I'll be in sweat pants obviously, I'm not watching TV in skinny jeans !

Long Sleeves or Short ? Short
Like Orlaith said in her post, it depends on the weather but since I live in a country where it's cold only 10 % of the year (by cold I mean minimum 15 °c) than I choose short. Otherwise I'll be sweating all the time and that's never really sexy, is it ?

Dresses or Skirts ? Dresses
I love both but definitely dresses because there are so easy to wear, it's only one piece but it makes an entire outfit !

Stripes or Plaids ? Stripes
I feel like stripes will never go out of fashion, they always look cute no matter what season.

Flip Flops or Sandals ? Sandals
Sandals, I don't have an explanation for that I just found them prettier.

Scarves or Hats ? Scarves
I wish I could say hats, but they really just don't fit me. I seriously look so idiot with a hat on. Everytime I want to put one I'm like "Yeah this time I'll look so hot with a hat, I will totaly rock this hat today" but, um... No. It never works, I just end up looking idiot so I'm going with scarves because they make me look ok, they are nicer (Am I talking about clothes right now?haha)

Studs or Dangly Earrings ? Both
For this one, I really just can't decide. It really depends on my outfit and on what other jewelry I'm wearing that day. If I already have a statement piece of jewelry on, than I'll go with the studs, if I don't then I'll go with the dangly earrings.

Necklace or Bracelets? Necklace
Necklace ! I don't really change up my bracelets to much. All the bracelets I'm given I just wear them and they never leave my wrist. On the other side I love changing up my necklaces, I think it's a great way to spice up any outfit.

Heels or Flats ? Flats
This is a very easy one for me, since I'm only 15 flats are the only thing I wear. Maybe for special occasion I will wear my only pair of heels but otherwise, heels are not my thing yet.

Cowboy or Riding Boots ? Riding Boots
To be honest, I don't really wear either ones but I feel like Riding Boots are easier to style and more wearable.

Jacket or Hoodies ? Tie
Hoddie for comfy (I'm a poet!), Jacket for style.

And that's it! I really enjoyed doing that tag and I tag all of you reading this to do it as well. I did not do all the parts of this tag but only the fashion one. If you would like to see the complete tag (with beauty, nails, hair and randoms) than head over to Orlaith blog : ladywiththebags.blogspot.co.uk.
Thank you for taking you time to read this, I really hope you liked it :)

Less is more ♛

The last day I had a family night, by family night I mean all gathering around the TV to watch the final of a stupid show. So I was like "I'm not going to bother being all pretty and put together just to lounge with my family right?". I ended up putting on this maxi dress because it was with a super nice fabric and I didn't have to think about it to much since it's a all outfit in one piece of clothing. Surprisingly I thought it looked super nice but still very put together (all the opposite than what I was looking for in the first place) and I ended up wearing it the day after to go do some stuff with my mum.

Excuse my face here I have no makeup on :

Dress : H&M
Sandals : Primark
Necklace : Brandy Melville

Conclusion : Maxi-Dresses = Effortless, simple but still put together look.

Smokey Eye + OOTN ♛

The other day I had a wedding, so I went to Tanya Burr's YouTube Channel to see what look I could recreate. I ended up choosing the Mila Kunis makeup tutorial because I had all the makeup necessary (Naked Palette). So I wanted to show you my attempt at it and share with you what I wore.

Review : Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Lip Balm ♛

Well, I think that pretty much everybody heard about Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream. It has been a very loved and very talked about product for now a couple of years. Although I never really heard about the Lip Balm range, so I thought I'll give them a go.
For those that have been living under a rock and actually don't know what the Eight Hour Cream is, it's a cream (daah!) that protects and hydrates the skin for up to eight hours.
So the lip balm is basically the same thing but in a lipstick tube, and with different tints. It didn't take me long to become addict, since it has the same formula than the original eight hour cream, but it's simply more practical and prettier. You can carry it in your hand bag and reapply it thru-out the day even without a mirror. It's cheer and glossy, but still very pretty (that totally rimed!). I'm a bit sad that it exist only in three colors though : a dark red (that doesn't come off strong at all), a pink, and a cheer one.
I find that usually lip balms are really nice and smooth on the lips but don't really do a great job at actually moisturizing them, although here, the lip balms really treat your lips.
Here I tried them on for you so you can see how it looks like :

The Dark Red (for more of a sexy look)

The Pink (for a cute look)

The Cheer (for a natural look)

Overall I think that it's a brilliant lip balm, and I would definitely suggest you purchase it if you're in a hunt for a little bit of color on your lips without it being too dramatic and still being hydrating. And that's it for today ! Thank you for reading :)
